Progress Post: Multimedia Memory Project

I have been working on my multimedia project. So far, I have completed the plaster cast of the base of the mountain, which came out pretty well. I experienced some setbacks in the second layer of the pyramid, which I had to redo three times. The middle is made of styrofoam and covered in plaster strips. I had to redo this because the first time, I accidentally inverted the base, meaning it didn't fit on the previous layer. I only figured this out after completing the layer. The second time, I was rushed and made another mistake in lining up the layers of plaster. However, the third time I came back fresh and completed the best, most dynamic layer yet. I'm very happy with it. It is currently covered in plaster strips and is drying. I will now continue to work on the wooden whittled tip of the mountain (the most detailed part) over the holidays.
